Hitmaker Song Lab is a creative mentorship studio offering personalized one-on-one songwriting mentorship, vocal coaching, piano lessons, and professional song feedback. Our goal is to help developing artists grow through guided creative practice, personalized mentorship, and ongoing artistic development.

Who can join Hitmaker Song Lab?

Hitmaker Song Lab welcomes participants of all ages and experience levels. Whether you're writing your first song or continuing your creative journey, mentorship is tailored to your individual goals and experience.
Participants under the age of 18 require the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

Do I need previous songwriting or music experience?
Not at all.

Whether you're completely new to songwriting or already creating original music, mentorship is personalized to your current level, interests, and creative goals.

Is Hitmaker Song Lab only for K-Pop?
No.
While Nicole's professional songwriting experience includes K-Pop, the mentorship focuses on contemporary songwriting and artist development across a variety of musical styles.

Is Hitmaker Song Lab affiliated with any entertainment companies?

No.

How does songwriting mentorship work?

Every mentorship session is conducted one-on-one with Nicole Timm (professionally known as TIMMS).

Sessions are personalized around your creative goals, allowing you to develop your songwriting through The Hitmaker Method while receiving ongoing guidance and professional feedback.

Are sessions live?
Yes.
​
All mentorship sessions are delivered live via Zoom.
​
How long is each session?
​
Most mentorship sessions are approximately 45 minutes, depending on the service provided.
​
Do I receive homework?
Where appropriate, Nicole may recommend creative exercises or songwriting tasks between sessions to help you continue developing your skills.

These activities are personalized and designed to support your creative growth.

Can I continue lessons for as long as I like?
Yes.

Hitmaker Song Lab offers ongoing mentorship rather than a fixed-length program, allowing participants to continue developing their skills at their own pace.​​

Song Feedback
What is Professional Song Feedback?
Professional Song Feedback provides personalized feedback on songs you've already written.

Nicole reviews your original music and offers constructive guidance to help strengthen your songwriting, creative direction, and overall musical development.

Can I submit unfinished songs?

Absolutely.
​
Feedback can be provided on ideas, demos, works in progress, or completed songs.​​

Creative Work
Will I write my own songs?
Yes.
​
Participants are encouraged to create and develop their own original music throughout the mentorship process.
​
Who owns my songs?
​
You retain full ownership of your original songs, lyrics, and creative work.​

Payments & Scheduling
How much does mentorship cost?
Current mentorship fees are listed on our website.
Each mentorship service may have its own pricing structure.
When do I need to pay?

Payment must be received at least 48 hours before your scheduled session.
​
Sessions that have not been paid for within this timeframe may be cancelled.
​
Can I reschedule a session?
​
Yes.
​
Sessions may be rescheduled with at least 48 hours' notice, subject to mentor availability.

Technical Requirements
What equipment do I need?
For most online mentorship sessions, you'll need:
