HITMAKER SONG LAB
FINANCE POLICY & PAYMENT AGREEMENT

1. AGREEMENT TO FINANCIAL TERMS​

 

This Finance Policy & Payment Agreement (“Agreement”) is a legally binding agreement between you (“Participant,” “Parent,” “Guardian,” or “you,” where applicable) and Hitmaker Song Lab (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).


By enrolling in Hitmaker Song Lab, selecting a payment option, submitting payment, or participating in our mentorship services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these financial terms.


If you do not agree to these terms, you must not proceed with enrollment or payment.


For participants under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian must agree to this Agreement on the participant’s behalf.

2. LESSON TUITION

 

The total tuition for the Hitmaker Song Lab songwriting mentorship lessons, vocal coaching, and piano lessons is:
$100 USD per lesson per participant

 

All fees are listed in United States Dollars (USD).


Lesson details, inclusions, and pricing may vary depending on mentorship structure.

3. ONGOING MENTORSHIP

 

Hitmaker Song Lab is an ongoing mentorship rather than a fixed-term course.

​

There is no minimum commitment unless otherwise agreed.

​

Participants are welcome to continue their mentorship for as long as they wish, subject to availability and timely payment of session fees.

 

4. PAYMENT TERMS

Mentorship sessions are billed on a per-session basis.

​

Session Fee: $100 USD per session

​

Payment must be received at least 48 hours before each scheduled mentorship session to confirm your booking.

Participants may pay for individual sessions or purchase multiple sessions in advance.

​

All payments are processed in U.S. Dollars (USD).

 

5. PAYMENT DEADLINES

 

To reserve your scheduled mentorship session, payment must be received no later than 48 hours before the session start time.

​

If payment has not been received by this deadline:

  • The session will be cancelled.

  • The scheduled time may be offered to another participant.

  • A new session may be booked subject to Nicole's availability.

 

Late payment does not guarantee that the original session time can be reinstated.

 

6. PAYMENT METHODS

 

All payments must be made securely through Hitmaker Song Lab’s approved payment platforms.

All transactions are securely processed by third-party payment providers.


Hitmaker Song Lab does not store full credit card information.

 

Participants are responsible for ensuring that:

  • payment details remain accurate and valid;

  • sufficient funds are available for scheduled charges;

  • installment payments can be successfully processed.

 

If an automatic payment fails due to insufficient funds, expired cards, or declined transactions, the outstanding balance remains due and must be resolved promptly.

 

7. NON-REFUNDABLE POLICY

 

Due to the limited and exclusive nature of one-on-one mentorship placements:

​

All payments are non-refundable.

 

This includes:

  • tuition payments;

  • mentorship fees;

  • missed-session fees;

  • additional booking fees.

 

No refunds will be issued for:

  • change of mind;

  • scheduling conflicts;

  • missed sessions;

  • participant withdrawal;

  • failure to attend;

  • partial completion of the program;

  • dissatisfaction based on subjective expectations;

  • lack of artistic or professional outcomes.

 

Each mentorship placement is reserved exclusively and may prevent another participant from enrolling.

 

8. MEDICAL EMERGENCY EXCEPTION

 

Refund consideration may be granted only in the case of a documented medical emergency.

​

Requirements may include:

  • official medical documentation;

  • timely written notice;

  • verification reasonably acceptable to Hitmaker Song Lab.

 

Any refund granted:

  • is approved solely at the discretion of Hitmaker Song Lab;

  • may be prorated;

  • may include administrative deductions or fees.

​

No other exceptions are guaranteed.

 

9. MISSED SESSIONS, RESCHEDULING & ADDITIONAL FEES

 

Mentorship sessions are reserved exclusively for each participant.

​

Rescheduling may be permitted only:

  • with at least 48 hours’ notice;

  • subject to mentor availability.

 

Missed sessions without notice are forfeited.

 

Participants may request additional make-up sessions:

  • subject to availability;

  • Fee: $100 per additional session

 

Make-up sessions are not guaranteed.

 

Missed sessions do not qualify for refunds, credits, or tuition reductions.

10. LATE , FAILED OR DECLINED PAYMENTS

 

If a scheduled payment fails:

  • the participant (or parent/guardian where applicable) may be notified;

  • payment must be resolved within 48 hours.

 

Failure to resolve outstanding balances may result in:

  • suspension of mentorship sessions;

  • denial of access to lesson materials;

  • removal from the program;

  • referral to collections or recovery processes where legally permitted.

 

Suspension for non-payment does not remove the obligation to pay outstanding tuition.

 

11. CHARGEBACKS & PAYMENT DISPUTES

 

By enrolling, you agree to contact Hitmaker Song Lab directly to resolve billing concerns before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback.


Improper or fraudulent chargebacks may result in:

  • immediate termination from the program;

  • collection of unpaid balances;

  • recovery of fees and legal costs;

  • suspension of future enrollment eligibility.

 

12. PROGRAM CANCELLATION OR POSTPONEMENT

 

Hitmaker Song Lab reserves the right to cancel, postpone, reschedule, or modify due to:

  • instructor illness;

  • technical failures;

  • scheduling conflicts;

  • force majeure events;

  • safety or operational concerns.

 

In such circumstances, participants may be offered:

  • transfer to a future intake; or

  • refund of payments made, at our discretion.

 

This may constitute the only refund circumstance outside documented medical emergencies.

 

13. NO GUARANTEE OF OUTCOME

 

Payment of tuition does not guarantee:​

  • songwriting placements;

  • entertainment industry opportunities;

  • management, label, or trainee opportunities;

  • auditions or contracts;

  • artistic success;

  • commercial outcomes;

  • professional career advancement.

 

Hitmaker Song Lab is an independent educational and mentorship program.

 

14. GOVERNING LAW

 

This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of California, United States of America, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.


Any disputes arising under this Agreement shall be resolved exclusively in the appropriate courts of California.
